Description

SX 07 NW ST KEW 5/161 Barn 20m to south east of Fentengo - Farmhouse GV II Bank barn. Circa mid C18. Slate rubble and cob with large dressed quoins. Steeply pitched rag slate roof with hipped ends. Rectangular plan with shippon on ground floor and outshut added to rear left. Ground rises to right with access to threshing floor above in right hand end. Two storeys. Splayed ventilation slits on ground floor with opposed doors to threshing floor above. Plank door in right hand end. Interior: Oak pegged roof with lapped and pegged collars.
