Description

This chest tomb, located about 1 metre south of the tower of the Church of St Neot, dates from the late 16th century to early 17th century. It is made of freestone and granite, featuring a freestone ashlar chest topped with a moulded granite lid. The lid is inscribed with large rustic letters, similar to those found on the Benet Mill memorial in St Gennys, though the inscription on this tomb is illegible.
