Description

Trekensey House is a village house that dates from the 18th century or possibly earlier. It is constructed of rendered rubble and features steep rag slate roofs topped with late 19th century crested clay ridge tiles. The house has brick end stacks, with the right-hand stack being rendered. The building has an L-shaped plan and consists of two storeys with a four-window range. The ground floor windows have segmental arches, and there are 20th century two and three-light casements with glazing bars, except for an early 19th century twelve-pane two-light casement on the left-hand side of the rear wing. There is likely a stair projecting towards the right, and the doorway is located left of centre, featuring a 20th century planked studded door. Additionally, there is a ledged door on the left-hand return. The interior has not been inspected.
