Description

This is a cross located approximately 6 metres north of the Church of Saint Winnear in Gwinear, Gwithian. It is likely from before the Conquest and is made of tall granite. The cross features a monolithic wheel-head with a long shaft. There is relief carving on each side of the head, depicting a patee cross on the east side and a crucifixion on the west side.
