Description
3 and 4 Bodinnick Old Road are two cottages likely built in the 18th century. They are constructed from colourwashed rubblestone and feature a slate roof with gabled ends and a brick stack on the left-hand gable end. The cottages have a single depth plan, are two storeys tall, and have an added attic. The front has three windows: No. 3 has one window, while No. 4 has two windows that are more closely spaced.
On the left-hand side, there is a large projecting stepped pier with slate weatherings at the corner. The ground floor features a 20th-century bay window with a 20th-century lean-to glazed porch on the left side, and on the right side, there is a two-light casement window with glazing bars and a partly glazed door topped with a slate lean-to hood. The first floor has two 16-pane sash windows and one 12-pane sash window, all without horns. There is also a small window above on the right and a large 20th-century dormer window with a flat roof inserted into the roof on the right.
The interiors have not been inspected. These cottages are included for their group value.
