Description

A barn and cowhouse, dating from the early 19th century with later alterations. The building is constructed of roughly coursed slate-stone rubble with a hipped slate roof. It is terraced into a hillside, meaning the rear entrance is at first-floor level. The ground floor features four round-headed arches, each with voussoirs and recessed stable doors. The first floor has a central pair of plank double doors set within an elliptical arch, covered by a small lean-to slate hood. External lateral steps are on the right end, and a doorway is directly opposite the first-floor entrance on the rear. Steps provide access to the rear entrance. The building is listed for its group value.
