Description

The former cider mill, located immediately to the northeast of Lower Lidwell Farmhouse, is a disused structure that likely dates from the late 18th century or early 19th century. It is built from roughly coursed slate-stone rubble and features a half-hipped slate roof. The building has a rectangular plan and consists of one storey, with a doorway situated on the south side. Inside, there is a granite cider press. This building is included for its group value with the nearby farmhouse.
