The structure has three storeys and three windows in exposed cases that do not have glazing bars. There are steps leading up to a panelled door, which is topped by a narrow rectangular fanlight. The building has a slate roof and is included for its group value. All the listed buildings on The Cliff create a cohesive group on the north side of the harbour.
