Description

Nos 7 and 8 Fradgan Place are a pair of late 17th or early 18th century cottages. They are built of rendered rubble with a cob first floor. The cottages have steep slate roofs with gable ends. There are two floors and three windows. Nos 8 has sash windows with glazing bars; the sashes in No 7 are modern. A central passageway runs along the ground floor. Shallow gabled porches are present. No 8 features a large attic dormer and bears the date 1760 painted above the doorway. Nos 7 to 12, together with the workshop premises of Mr Cattran, form a group.
