STOKE CLIMSLAND HIGHER HAMPT Pigsties adjoining south west of Higher Hampt Farmhouse

GV II Pigsties. Probably C19. Slate rubble with granite dressings. Corrugated asbestos roof with gabled ends. Small rectangular four-bay range attached to front of lower end of Higher Hampt Farmhouse (qv) divided into three sties with the entrance in the fourth bay at one end. Single storey. Three bay south front. Doorway to right and three granite troughs set into small granite-lined openings low down in wall. North elevation facing yard has three doorways with wooden lintels and C20 plank doors.

Interior: only one of the slate partitions survives.
