Description

This is an early 19th-century building of stucco construction, located at 58-60 Adelaide Street, Penzance. It has a slate roof with wide eaves. The front has four windows arranged within recessed bays with semi-circular heads. The first-floor windows are sash windows with segmental arches, and Nos. 58 and 59 have glazing bars. The ground floors of Nos. 58 and 59 feature 19th-century shop fronts, with No. 58 having six panes and No. 59 having eight. No. 60 has two large modern ground-floor windows and a central glazed entrance door. The building is included in the list for its group value, along with Nos. 55-60 and No. 42 Market Jew Street.
