Description
The lychgate south of the Church of St Hermes is an 18th-century structure made of slate rubble, featuring slate coping and slate seats. It is a roofless lychgate with side walls on either side of the path, which include integral benches on the inside and integral gate-piers at the outer ends. At the inner end, there is a wrought-iron gate from the late 19th or early 20th century, characterized by arrowhead shafts, along with rebuilt steps leading down to the churchyard, which is at a lower level.
