Description
The parish boundary stone, located between the original Chacewater and Gwennap parishes, dates from the early 19th century. It is made of granite and is a monolith, roughly hewn and inscribed with the number 36. This stone marks not only the parish boundary but also the mineral rights of local landowners. It is one of a series of 35 similar stones.
