Description
An arc lamp post, designed in 1898 by H.F. Proctor, is located approximately 10 metres south of number 28 on the north side of Royal York Crescent in Clifton, Bristol. The lamp post is made of cast iron and features a fluted base with a panel displaying the city arms, topped by a foliate bulb. The column tapers upwards and has a foliate top that curves into a half-circle with curly brackets and a cast flower. The lamp has been relamped.
