Description
Western House perimeter walls, piers, and gates were constructed between 1905 and 1906 by H Dare Bryan. They are made of limestone ashlar and wrought iron, featuring curved and battered walls that were originally topped with railings, leading up to piers adorned with ball finials. The main gateway includes pedestrian gates on either side of tall piers that have elaborate vases, along with two-leaf gates that feature a raised central section. At the left end, there is a segmental-arched gateway with walls that have weathered copings, while the right end has another two-leaf gate.
