Description

A terrace of eight houses, now offices, located on Pritchard Street in Bristol. The terrace was originally built around 1770 and subsequently rebuilt in the late 20th century, specifically around 1990. The buildings are constructed of brick with limestone detailing, incorporating party wall stacks and pantile mansard roofs. They have a double-depth plan and are designed in a mid-18th century Georgian style.

Each house extends over three storeys, with an attic and basement, and has a two-window facade. The redeveloped terrace presents a stepped design, featuring a ramped cornice and parapet. Doorways are distinguished by bracketed open pediments, fanlights, and six-panel doors, accompanied by stepped voussoirs above six-pane sash windows. The interior has not been inspected.

Attached to the property are steel railings with urn finials. The rebuilding of the terrace was intended to preserve the approaches to Portland Square.
