Description
This is an arc lamp post designed in 1898 by H.F. Proctor, located approximately 20 metres south of number 20 on Royal York Crescent in Clifton, Bristol. The lamp post is made of cast iron and features a fluted base with a panel displaying the city arms. It has a tapering column that culminates in a foliate top, which is turned over into a half-circle adorned with curly brackets and a cast flower. The lamp has been relamped.
