Description

This is a late 18th-century house, extended around 1820, located in Westbury on Trym, Bristol. The house is rendered with limestone dressings and a slate hipped roof. It has a double-depth plan, featuring an 18th-century rear block of three storeys and a symmetrical 19th-century front. The front facade has a three-window range and very broad full-height bows extending to a parapet. A central doorcase is constructed of ashlar with Doric pilasters and an entablature, framing a pair of 20th-century doors. The windows are sash windows with six panes per sash, deeper on the ground floor, and are positioned above the door. The interior of the house has not been inspected.
