Description

46 and 48 Eastfield are an attached pair of houses built around 1820, located in Bristol. They feature a limestone ashlar front and black rendered side elevations, with ridge stacks and an interlocking tile roof. Designed in the Italianate style, each house has two storeys and a two-window range. The corners and party wall are accentuated with pilasters. The ground floor has rusticated detailing with 6/6-pane sash windows that have incised voussoirs, while the second floor windows are set in semicircular-arched recesses, all beneath deep overhanging eaves supported by brackets. The side elevations include a curved Doric porch leading to semicircular-arched doorways. The interior has not been inspected.
