Description

A pair of attached houses, dating from around 1860, located on Rockleaze in the Sneyd Park area of Bristol. The houses are constructed of snecked Pennant rubble with limestone dressings and brick detailing. They feature stone gable and ridge stacks, and tile gabled and hipped roofs. The design follows a classical style and is arranged with a double-depth plan across three storeys, originally featuring a four-window front. Two-storey canted bays with balustrades house the entrances on the side elevations. The windows are plate glass sashes, with paired windows within the bays and two windows between them, framed by plain eared architraves. Doorways are located within end blocks, and a cornice and balustrade run along the full width of the front. Number 7 has a first-floor balcony supported by brackets. The interior of the houses has not been inspected.
