Description

A pair of attached houses built around 1860 in Rockleaze, Sneyd Park, Bristol. The houses are constructed from snecked Pennant rubble with limestone dressings and brick detailing, featuring stone gable and ridge stacks and a tile roof. They follow a double-depth plan and are designed in a Classical style. The houses are three storeys high with an eight-window front. Full-height semicircular bows with brick cornices are present on both sides, and entrance porches are located in the side elevations. The windows are long plate-glass sashes, with three windows within each bow and four between the bows, set within plain eared architraves. Dooways are incorporated into the end blocks. A pierced parapet runs the full width of the building, with a first-floor balcony positioned between the bows. The interior has not been inspected.
