Description

This is an arc lamp post designed in 1898 by H.F. Proctor, located approximately 25 metres south of number 45 on Royal York Crescent in Clifton, Bristol. The lamp post is made of cast iron and features a fluted base with a panel that displays the city crest. It has a tapering shaft that leads to a foliate top, which is turned over into a half-circle adorned with curly brackets and a cast flower. The lamp has been relamped.
