Description

The boundary wall on the south side of Blaise Hamlet was built around 1812 for J.S. Harford as part of the layout of Blaise Hamlet. It is constructed of lias rubble with brick on the north side and features stone coping. The wall extends for approximately 100 metres along the south side of Blaise Hamlet, providing a screen from 20th-century development. To the east, the wall ramps down to a lower wall along Hallen Road, which has been reduced in height and is not included in this listing. The wall is noted for its group and historical value.
