Description
Chesterfield House is a house built around 1770, located on Henbury Road in Bristol. The building is constructed of stucco with limestone dressings and features a slate hipped roof. It has a double-depth plan and stands three storeys tall with a three-window range. A cornice and parapet wrap around the house, rising at the corners. The symmetrical front includes a doorcase with a keyed Gibbs surround and a pediment supported by small brackets. The windows consist of keyed, flat-headed six-over-six pane sashes, three-over-three panes on the second floor, and a semicircular-arched central window on the first floor, all featuring Gibbs surrounds, along with similar windows on the sides. The interior has not been inspected.
