Description

The former glass cone, now a restaurant, dates back to around 1780. It is constructed from squared Pennant rubble, brick, and tiles, featuring a circular plan. The sides are battered leading up to segmental brick arches, and it has a tile-hung roof that was added around 1970. The interior has not been inspected. The base of the cone, which originally stood four or five times its current height, is the last remnant of the Bristol glass industry.
