Description

World's End House is a house dating from the 17th to 18th century. It is located in Bristol. The building has a rendered exterior, a ridge stack, and a pantile double-pile roof. It follows a double-depth plan. The house is two storeys high with an attic, and has a four-window front. The front elevation features two gables, with one set forward, a shallow valley between them, and a hip roof to the rear. A stack is situated in the left-hand ridge. A doorway is present in the right-hand gable, but is not visible. Above this doorway is a plate-glass sash window, with two 20th-century windows to the right. An attic window with plate glass is located on the left. The left-hand return wall has a central 20th-century buttress, with windows on either side; plate-glass sashes are present on the left, and altered sashes with 20th-century casements are on the right. The interior was not inspected, but is believed to contain exposed beams.
