Description

The walls, gates, and railings located to the south and west of the Church of St Werburgh were constructed in 1879. They are made of snecked ashlar and feature wrought-iron railings and gates. The design includes a stepped dwarf wall with broached piers topped with crenellated octagonal caps, and the railings are adorned with fleurs-de-lis.
