Description

The orangery at Blaise Castle House was built in 1806 by John Nash. It is constructed from limestone ashlar, brick, and features a glass valley roof. The building has a double-depth plan and is a single-storey structure with a seven-window range. The front is concave and includes semicircular arches supported by chamfered Tuscan columns, topped with a cornice. Inside, there are cast-iron stanchions that support the valley box gutter.
