Description

Manor Farmhouse, originally known as Kinson Farm, dates from around 1700. It is a two-storey building, with dormers at the rear. The front elevation was originally tile-hung, but was plastered in 1950. It has four casement windows on the ground floor and three on the first floor. A gabled brick porch with a round arch, a tiled roof, terracotta ridge and finial, was added in the late 19th century. The farmhouse features a moulded timber eaves cornice and a roof of old tiles. The gable ends are of red brick, with two stringcourses, kneelers, stone coping, and a small segmental brick pediment at the apex, supporting a panelled brick chimneystack. The rear dormers have slate cheeks. A single-storey rear wing has a hipped gable.
