Description

The churchyard cross at the Church of St Clement was designed and carved by William Brindley, a member of the congregation, in memory of Reverend C S Towle, who died in 1908. The cross features a rectangular stem adorned with foliage trail carving. The head of the cross has sculptured groups situated under canopied niches. This cross, along with the Church of St Clement, nearby graves, vicarage walls, St Clement School, the schoolhouse, and No 12A, forms a cohesive group.
