Description
St Clement's Schoolhouse and No 12A is a pair of cottages built in 1877 by J D Sedding. The cottages are constructed from brick and feature tile-hanging, with a central gable positioned at right angles to the long ridgeline and a lean-to on the ground floor. The lower windows are shallow segment-headed sashes, while the upper windows are casements, some of which retain their leading. The chimneys have vertical ribs. There is a single-storey link connecting the cottages to the school. This building, along with the Church of St Clement, the Churchyard Cross and Graves, the Vicarage Walls, and St Clement School, forms a group of significant structures.
