Description

West Quartleys is an early 19th century building located on the south side of Martins Hill Lane in Burton. It is constructed of painted brick and features a shallow-pitched slate roof. The building stands two storeys high and has three windows, which are early 19th century casements with glazing bars, although some have been replaced. A central brick porch is present, with an added iron balustrade above. West Quartleys is listed as Grade II due to its contribution to a group that includes The Thatch, Woolland, Lark Cottage, Yellow Cottage, and Kirkhill, along with Nos 61, 64, and 66 Salisbury Road, with Yellow Cottage and Kirkhill being of local interest.
