Description

This section of wall, dating from around the 1760s or later, features four oven mouths and is located to the east of the remains of annealing ovens. The wall is constructed of rubble and stands approximately 6 feet high and 15 to 20 yards long. It has low segmental openings with ashlar dressings, which are believed to have served as the mouths of ovens and doorways. This structure is associated with the nearby remains of two annealing ovens.
