Description
No. 10 Chapel Row is a small infill house built around 1800, with 20th-century alterations. It is constructed from limestone ashlar block, which was formerly painted, and the roof is not visible. The property is situated between the end of the main terrace on Chapel Row and a short return opposite Holy Trinity Church, featuring a triangular plan.
The house has three storeys and three windows. The top floor has 20th-century four-pane lights that are set flush with the wall face, while below, there are deep eight-pane sash windows in plain reveals. On the ground floor, there is a square display window, and to the right, a 20th-century glazed door with a floating wood cornice above both features. The third bay includes a six-panel door with a flat hood supported by brackets, along with another square display window to its right. The building has a plain parapet, which shows signs of rebuilding at this level. The interior has not been inspected. This property is included for its group value.
