Description

The garden wall linking Number 83 (the Vicarage) to the Norman archway was built around 1844. It features a parapet capped with stones in the Perpendicular style, which include quadrilobe patterns and some with shields in the center, similar to the parapet of the parish church at Church Square. The wall is constructed using 'grotto' walling made from Chilcompton rough stone.
