Description

The front boundary walls and gatepiers to the road of No. 71 Eagle House date from the late 18th century to early 19th century. They are constructed of coursed rubble with ashlar coping, featuring ashlar gatepiers and uprights. The walls stand approximately four feet high. There is a pedestrian entrance on the right with low capped gatepiers, and a carriage entrance on the left with taller piers. These structures are included for their group value.
