Description

Terrace houses were built around 1824. The first lease for No. 23 was recorded on 25th March 1824. The houses are constructed of limestone ashlar, with Nos. 23-26 being painted. Nos. 20 and 26 have Welsh slate roofs, while Nos. 21-25 have pantiles. The plan is of double-depth cottages with doorways on the left.

The houses are two storeys high, with two windows on each side. They feature a cornice and parapet that steps up between Nos. 20-21, Nos. 22-23, and Nos. 25-26. No. 20 has plain sash windows and a panelled door with a small hood supported by brackets. It has a double roof with ashlar stacks on the right. Nos. 21 and 22 are similar to No. 20. Nos. 23 and 24 replicate the design of No. 20, but are painted. No. 25 has six-over-six sash windows above a tented verandah that spans the entire front. No. 26 features six-over-six sash windows in stop-chamfered frames. It has a six-panel door with the top two panels glazed, situated within a small, modern porch. The rear elevations were not inspected. The interiors have not been inspected.
