Description

The outbuilding to the rear of Batheaston Cottage is a stable, coachhouse, and hayloft, dating from the late 18th century to the early 19th century. It is constructed of ashlar stone and features a slate roof with coped raised verges. The building has two storeys and includes two glazing bar sash windows, as well as a plat band. The ground floor has 20th-century doors and casements. An outer stone stair leads to the upper floor. This outbuilding is included for its group value with the adjacent cottage.
