Description

A row of seven terraced houses at 24-30 Church Road, Weston, dating from approximately 1830 to 1840, with 20th-century additions. The houses are constructed of limestone ashlar, with single-pitched double Roman tile roofs, moulded stacks to the coped party walls and left gable end. They are arranged on double depth plans, with rear extensions.

The two-storey houses each feature a two-window front and a low coped parapet. No.24 has plate glass sash windows without horns and a 20th-century six-panel door. No.25 has sash windows with horns and horizontal glazing bars to the two-over-two panes, along with a 20th-century door. No.26 has chamfered arrises on a similar window to the ground floor, plate glass sashes to the first floor, and a four-panel door. No.27 features similar two-over-two-pane sash windows and a four-panel door. No.28 has plate glass sashes and a 19th-century six-panel door within a gabled, trellised porch. No.29 has 20th-century metal windows and a 20th-century door. No.30 has altered window openings, 20th-century windows, and a glazed porch; it is included in the listing primarily for group value. The interiors have not been inspected.
