Description

This is a terrace of six houses located on the south side of Bathwick Street. The buildings date from the early 19th century. They are constructed of limestone ashlar with hidden roofs and moulded chimney stacks integrated into the party walls. The terrace is four storeys high, including an attic, with each house having a single window width. A continuous coped parapet runs along the top, with an attic cornice below. Stone mullions frame the six/six pane tripartite sash windows on the attic, second, and first floors. Balconies are present on the first floor. The ground floor windows are set within flat arched recesses, and semicircular arches frame the fanlights and front doors. Number 39, the house on the left, features plate glass sash windows. The interiors have not been inspected.
