Description
No. 123 is a house from the mid-17th century located in Marksbury Village. It is built from rubble and features double Roman tile roofs with raised coped verges, arranged in an L-plan. The house has two storeys and displays two windows on the inner face of each wing, along with one window in the lower 19th-century wing to the west. The main block includes two-light reserved ovolo-moulded mullion casements, with the right window positioned under a drip. The re-entrant angle features a 20th-century lean-to porch, while to the left is a hipped 20th-century porch followed by a segmental-headed multi-pane casement. The gable end has a single blocked oculus. On the east elevation, there is a similar single light under a drip and a 20th-century casement, with a blocked chamfered doorcase to the left.
