Description
Nos. 6 and 7 Crescent Lane is a stable block located at the rear of the Royal Crescent, dating from around 1800, with 20th-century alterations. The building is constructed from limestone ashlar and features a hipped slate roof with a small stack positioned towards the front right of the center.
The stable block has a five-bay plan and stands two storeys tall, displaying a five-window range. It is surrounded by a parapet, cornice, and cornice band, along with a ground floor platband. The first floor and the left side of the ground floor feature ten/ten pane sash windows. On the inside left, there is a semi-elliptical carriage arch that has been fitted with 20th-century glazing. To the right, No. 7 has a 20th-century timber lintel above its garage doors. The garden front of the building displays five blind windows. The interior has not been inspected.
