Description
A row of four estate cottages, originally built around 1780, located in the parish of Publow Woollard. These cottages are arranged in two pairs. They are constructed of rubble and have a pantile roof with coped, raised verges. Each cottage is two storeys high, with two windows on each floor. The ground-floor windows are 3-light casements, while the first-floor windows are 2-light casements, all featuring glazing bars and are set beneath cambered heads. Cottages 184 and 185 are situated at a slightly lower level than the others. Number 182 has a later gabled porch added. Number 185 features 20th-century casements and a porch. Cottages 183 and 184 have plank doors positioned under cambered heads. The cottages were formerly part of the Popham Estate.
