Description

A pair of estate cottages dated 1748, likely remodelled subsequently. The cottages are constructed of rubble with freestone quoins, and have a double Roman tiled roof with coped raised verges. They are three storeys high, with two windows to each cottage. The outer windows are two-light, while the inner windows are single-light glazed casements, all with cambered heads. A pair of plank doors are centrally located, also under cambered heads. A datestone is set at second floor level. The cottages were originally part of the Popham Estate.
