Description
The rear garden wall and railings to No. 22 Bathwick Hill were built between 1820 and 1830. The structure is made of squared limestone rubble and features dressed piers along with wrought iron railings. It consists of a low wall with dressed coping, topped by plain railings. At the left end, there is a corniced pier. In the center, there is a gateway framed by pedimented piers. To the right, there is a doorway with grooved piers and a six-panel door. This wall is part of a series of attractive garden walls that face Smallcombe.
