Description
The K6 telephone box located outside the Assembly Rooms on Alfred Street is a Grade II listed structure. This telephone kiosk, designed in 1935 by Sir Giles Gilbert Scott, is made of cast iron and features a square shape with a domed roof. It has unperforated crowns on the top panels and margin glazing on the windows and door. This particular example is noted for its strong group value with the nearby Circus, the Assembly Rooms, and Alfred Street.
