Description
Salvington Letts, also known as Old Sussex Cottage, is a 17th-century house. It is located on the north side of Salvington Road in Durrington, Salvington. The building is two storeys high and has four windows, although a three-window west wing has been added. The original structure is built of squared flints with red brick dressings and a stringcourse, topped with a red tiled roof. Modern casement windows are now in place. While the Rate-books refer to the property as Old Sussex Cottage, this is a more recent name. Salvington Letts, along with other listed buildings nearby, forms a notable group.
