Description

The Old Cottage is probably late 18th century and stands on the south side of Ashacre Lane, Durrington. It is a two-storey building constructed of flint with brick dressings and has a slate roof, featuring gable chimneys. The front façade has two widely spaced windows; the upper windows are modern casements and the lower windows appear to be Victorian-style sashes. A central door provides entry. An extension, matching the form of a second span, is situated at the east end of the cottage.
