River's Farmhouse is a 17th century or earlier timber-framed building featuring painted brick infilling, with the east front being tile-hung. It has a tiled roof and casement windows. The north wall showcases an ashlar chimney breast with twin red brick stacks. The farmhouse stands two storeys high with an attic in the gable ends and has four windows.
