Description

Numbers 1 and 2 Wharf Cottages are 18th century buildings located on Haywards Heath Road in Balcombe. They are two storeys high and feature three windows. The cottages are faced with roughcast and have a brick modillion eaves cornice. The roof is tiled, and the windows are casement style. There is a doorway with a modern gabled hood. It is worth noting that the east cottage is a mid-19th century addition made of red brick.
